Established in 2000, this cozy inn has been providing a warm and welcoming retreat for travellers seeking relaxation and natural beauty in the picturesque setting of the South Thompson region. Chase Country Inn offers comfortable accommodations tailored to different needs. In addition to providing general guest room accommodation, they also offer long-stay service and group event hostings like parties and weddings.
Today we are looking for a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper, and this position will be working on maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and common areas within our motel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Clean common areas and Disinfect high-touch areas
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Clean changing rooms and showers
Skills & Qualifications
- No specific degree or certificate required
- 1 to less than 7 months
